Art Deco transmits lofty extravagance, opulence, elegance, and glamour. With the use of geometric patterns, ornate décor and extensive implementation of metallics in its furniture, both incarnations of Art Deco (Modern and Original) are still very present in today’s interior design trends.

Art deco originated in the 1920s and evolved into a leading style across the United States and western Europe over 10 years. The style was first exhibited in 1925, during the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (hence, baptized Art Deco).
