Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy that teaches us to strike a balance between our living spaces and the natural world. Feng means “wind” and Shui means “water”, and it refers to the fact living beings require both of these elements to sustain life.

Feng Shui takes its five elements from Taoism (which heavily influences its philosophy). The five elements, or phases, are water, fire, earth, metal, and wood. Each of these phases has a distinct meaning and interact with Feng Shui’s “eight areas”, commonly known as Bagua.

The eight areas are as follows: Health (Tai Qi), Family (Zhen), Wealth (Xun), Partnerships (Kun0), Knowledge (Gen), Helpful People (Qian), Children (Dui), Fame (Li), Career (Kan). Feng Shui allows you to optimize areas around these elements and better whatever area of your life you cherish the most.
